Video: Women Playwrights International Virtual Conference

Women Playwrights International is dedicated to promoting, celebrating, and nurturing the work of women playwrights worldwide. Every three years since 1988, Women Playwrights International (WPI) has organised a conference bringing together theatre practitioners, scholars, and critics from all over the world to present and study the work of women playwrights. Given our commitment to diversity and inclusivity, we opened up the conference to include all women, non-binary, and gender fluid writers.

The conference held in June 2022 featured three inspiring keynote speakers: Donna Kaz of Guerilla Girls, Ann-Marie MacDonald, novelist and playwright, and Yvette Nolan, one of Canada’s most highly esteemed playwrights.
